This work pictures a dense Julia set constructed from iterations of the following Lattès map: z -> -z(z-a)2/(az-1)2 with a = i sqrt(3).
The dense fractal pattern pictured here actually lives on the sphere. It can be explored panoramically in the window below. (A WebGL-compatible browser is required.) More information can be found in this blog post.
